With a kid friendly focus, Fazoli's was recognized as one of the best family restaurants in the United States by Parent's Magazine. Now, health conscious parents can select from 15 new menu items including several under-400 calories. With a focus on value, Fazoli's aims to provide nutrient rich menu options for everyone while keeping the family budget in mind.

I'm diabetic, and all these choices are too high carb and too high sodium for my blood pressure. Sorry to rain on the Fazoli's parade. Report
I went to Fazoli's just the other day. I got the spaghetti with meat sauce. I actually made 3 meals out of the huge serving they gave me! I really like Fazoli's but I don't go there very often. Report
I would like to see one of these restaurants here. Report
They closed the Fazoli's in my neighborhood but as I travel, I enjoy the Chicken Penne & Peppers or any kind of chicken and./or cheese ravioli. I normally do not order spaghetti as it is something simple which I can make at home. The sodium count is quite high but you choose your battles! Report
To me Spaghetti is a "cheap" food, so I never waste money eating out at an Italian restaurant. I can cook spaghetti at home. Report
If I need a quick lunch, I get a kids meal spaghetti marinara. Calories in regular dishes may seem high but its also bc the portion is huge. I am a 6'1 female and find the kids portion plus two breadsticks to work for me. Report
Has anyone else done the math on the fat content? Not much low fat here! Stick to the spaghetti & marinera! Report
I thought had misread this article. I do not see this as a good menu for kids. Sodium and high calories. No Problem i doubt there are any in Maine. Report

I love wheat past. I love white sauce. I'll have to agree of all the meals to make at home, pasta is the easiest. Report

Yep, that was my first thought...the sodium values are out of this world. Even the kids menus are pushing it...especially for kids. This is a start I guess. Not new to restaurants though. Here in our town we have an Applebee's on the south end of town and an Outback Steakhouse on the north end. Great food, but we call them the "north salt lick" and the "south salt lick." for a reason. =) Report
Whole Wheat Penne with Marinara certainly must have more Sodium than 111mg when you look at the high sodium counts on most everything else.
need to cut down on the sodium just a tad... Report
