Sounds so KYummy and like to have sweets and like to have a lady sweetie ! Report
I buy 4# bags of frozen fruit at Walmart for $7 a bag, and keep them in the fresher. I put the pieces in a paper cup, and munch them late at night while watching a movie, instead of a HIGH calorie snack. You can't eat it fast when it is frozen. Report
I've just started making my PB&J with sliced fresh strawberries instead of jelly - it surprised me how good it was that way. I'm planning on trying it with slice apples next. Report
The sweet/salty one is perfect for me! I love having that balance with chocolate and pretzels Report
It's good to know there are alternatives! Thanks for all the yummy suggestions! Report
I will try a couple of these suggestions!!! Report
My favorite late night snack is a cherry pie larabar. Report
Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas. my favorite at this time is a chocolate protine shake with bananas. The pudding and strawberries sounds tooooo yummy . I will deffinently have to try it. Report
reading all these great ideas this time of night has not been good for me. they all sound so tastey..can`t wait to try a few of them. good nite Report
I tend to go for the salty. If I eat something sweet, it tends to be grapes or yogurt or a cereal bar. Thanks for the ideas. I need to think out of my little box! Report
I am always hungry at that time unless I had a very filling lunch. I wish i could bring nuts to school but I can't. We have a high amount of anaphylactic (sp.) kids and we have a policy that says no nuts or nut products on premises. I generally have my danon yogourt at that time. If I don't eat at school around that time, I'll be starving when I get home and I'll go to town on bad stuff. Report
Great Tips! I need them as I am a real sweet junkie! Report
Thanks for the really awesome alternatives to high calorie empty calorie snacks! Report
Thanks for all the great ideas I needed this. Report
I bring some milk to work and heat it with water and a sugar-free hot chocolate. Even better is using my own cocoa and some stevia. I find if I chew, it sets me off eating more. In Volumetrics, Rollins says milk has been found to satiate well, and I find it's true with my little treat. Report
I soooo needed this now. Perfect timing! Great ideas.....now just to post them on my fridge, so everyone else can try them too!! Report
All Bran Mulit-Grain Crackers with thawed, no sugar added strawberries or peaches. Crackers are good with baby carrots too and LOTS of crunch!!!! Report
I eat Vitalicious muffin tops - pomegranite/chocolate taste the most decadent of the flavors I have tried. Then triple chocolate. They also have a fudgy peanut butter. another option is No-Pudge brownies, fat free made with yogurt only. Report
I so needed this. Report
Great ideas I have used some of them. I usually use choc cips and eanut butter on bananas, or apples also a few nuts Report
ahhhh... those pics of the muffins... YUMMMMMMMMYYYYY and yep will definitely remember to look at this page again when i have a sweet tooth craving.. I usually snack on my bananas with a teaspoon of peanut butter :) Report
This is making me hungry. :( Report
All sound so yummy! Report
While it's more of an after dinner treat for our household, we'll often take 2 tablespoons of Trader Joes chunky peanut butter and mix in 1 tablespoon of mesquite honey & give 1 stir. The nibbling of the treat lasts 5+ minutes, has manageable calories, and overall is more healthy than so many things we've left in the past. Report
I've got to remember those ideas! I wonder if instead of vanilla pudding and strawberries, how about fat free chocolate pudding and cherries? I usually get the craving after dinner. I tried keeping some sugar free Russell Stover's around here but I alway end up eating too many. So much for that idea. I've found though that when I eat a banana I don't get sugar cravings at all that day. Weird... Report
I like to do frozen fruit with organic reduced fat milk in a blender, Yummy!!! Report
If I want a sweet treat I make myself a protein smoothie. The protein powder I add makes it filling, and the fruit in it quells my sweet tooth! Report
I usually do berries and lite cool whip, I will have to try the vanilla pudding that sounds GOOD!! Report
I mix walnuts & raisins or have apple & peanut butter Report
At work I have 12 raw almonds and one Dove dark chocolate in snack baggies. I usually take small bites of the chocolate while at my desk and alternate with an almond or two - tastes quite a bit like having a rich candy bar, but good for you.

I also keep single serving yougurts in the fridge as well as a few peices of fresh fruit.

I like mixing 1 tbsp creamy peanut butter and 1 tbsp nutella. I dip my apple slices or some celery in the mixture ... yum! Report
My favorite is frozen blueberries in a dannon light and fit yogurt. It is amazingly good and less than 100 cal Report
I like mixing a fat free fudgesicle (take off stickl) with 1 tbs of peanut butter. Yummy - tastes just like a Reeses PB cup Report
LOTS of great suggestions here! I have the sweet tooth problem MOST of the day. These are great options to work on. :) Report
That doesnt look like a hershey kiss on that smore! LOL Report
I love 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries, thawed combined with a individual serving of fat and sugar free vanilla yoghurt. Fees like dessert with around 100 calories. Report
Great ideas, some I have already tryed other I will be. Thanks so much. My kids love ants on a log :celery,.pb and raisins Report
Chocolate is definitely a weakness for me. I find that the Fibre One chocolate and oat bars are great when I just can't live without it. The Peanut Butter Oat are perfect for that salty-sweet craving. Report
I look forward to my yogurt "whip". A 6oz light yogurt and 2 Tbsp of fat free whipped topping whipped together is very thick and creamy and does the trick for just over 100 calories. Report
I do air popcorn and add taco seasoning to it and to kick it up a bit i will spray on the one cal spray ranch.. it good my kid will eat it also..my son has to have heart smart mar. on his Report
A medium apple and tablespoon of peanut butter Report
6 pieces of dried pineapple OR handful of dries beries & 1/2 cup of honeysweetened whole grain cereal OR 1 light yogurt OR 1 Gerber's "2nd Food" dessert (lots of flavors to choose from and about 60 cents a piece!) Report
I have a "light' "non-fat" 6 oz yogurt for a afternoon snack. Only 70 calories! Report
Yum, this is something I wil keep handy! Report
Yum, this is something I wil keep handy! Report
I really like those 100 calorie packs the ones I have tried taste good and it telll my brain what I got of one that I'm happy and content now? Report
An apple with peanut butter. For some reason pb always cures my chocolate cravings, which is weird. But its a good way to get in another fruit, but just the apple is never enough, and the pb helps it "stick" until i get home, work out, and make dinner. Report
What great ideas; thanks! Report
