I think Rey and pumpernickel are the best choices....especially for weight loss
Rye Bread is good to reduce cholesterol...that is Rye with plant sterols also helps weight loss as it digests slower...keeps you full...and is lower glycemic ...the sugars in rye flour are absorbed into your bloodstream much more slowly
Whole Grain Cocktail Rye Bread is good too.... small squares toasted
I know whole wheat is best, but I find it has more fibre than I can handle so I've just been eating white bread. Is there such a thing as bread that has benefits of whole wheat but not the fibre? Is rye bread a bread with low fibre?
