MADiddles… 6lbs is GREAT!! Particularly compared to my holding steady for the month.... I just set up the November thread, as this will be my last post for October. I need to do some re-evaluation about this past month...I'm not sure what factor made it a 'no loss' month exactly. I know those happen to all of us, but I really went into the month with that feeling it was going to be a good one! Hmmmm…..

Goal - Lose 3 pounds in Oct
I didn't lose a thing this week. It must of been the 95th BD Party I attended this past week. Today I am preparing a huge salad that will last a few days and a Bolthouse smoothie as well. They will be handy and healthy when I open the fridge.
It is cool this morning in FL. I have Food Prep, Gardening, pool time on the agenda for today. I watched a Netflix movie and wogged this morning so I almost have my 10,000 steps in for today.
Catduck: if your "nope" means you didn't lose this week, you don't stand alone!! Its a "nope" for me this week too..... I'm sure it has to do with: 1. the salty potato chips that used to be in a bag (ahem... I *know* better!!) 2. the salty pork roast served at our friend's home for dinner 2 days ago 3. two days of very little exercise... (for a good reason though: donated blood!)
SO I shall focus on my plan better this coming week...and at least make this a month I haven't gained!! Hope you all enjoy a great successful week. patti MA: wowser---you are on fire this month!! ;)

WAY to GO Francine --- that's impressive for 3 weeks! Please don't get discouraged if/when your weight loss slows down... you obviously are on the right track!!

Hmmm... my midweek weights are sitting right where they were. I'm really waiting for that cycle where I *suddenly* drop a pound or two... I know it takes good decisions, perseverance and patience. I'm working on the first two....and running out of the last one. LOL
EDIT: ah yes... also the 3rd "P": PLAN! Makes those "good decisions" easier!!

I had a good first week back on SP - long may it continue :-)
Ma...I'm envious... just getting to the end of our growing season up in the NOrthwest. It was with regret that I pulled out my bean plants a day ago. I will have to pick all the tomatoes soon and bring them in to ripen. Beets, Kale and a few others are growing still though....

Hi all I hope everyone has a great OCTOBER. I am in the Sunshine State, so getting into the gardening mode. I like planting veggies for salads and stirfries. I plan on spending the afternoon outside get pots ready for planting.
I spent the morning in the pool doing water aerobics for a couple hours. Enjoy your day. MA

We might not be where we want to be quite yet....but it always strikes me as such a good thing that at least we're "aware of and trying" to reach a healthier weight. I'd love to join you, I haven't been on SparkPeople in months and the weight is starting to creep back on!
You are here on the community challenges every month and I admire your determination to stick around. It gives me a place to go when I feel I have no other. I just might join up this month for the added motivation. I just got back from a month long vacation. Diet wise it was a disaster. I so dislike when I sabotage myself.
