    Hello, thank you for visiting my Spark journal and leaving a comment.
    IF is Intermittent Fasting (which we all do to some extent, like fasting when we sleep). I started with 16:8, which is 16 hours fasting and an 8 hour eating window. Gradually I've shortened the eating time because it really helped me cut out snacking and grazing, especially late night munching.
    OMAD is one meal a day. Not for everyone, but it's one thing that has really helped me make sustainable progress (60+ pounds lost this year). It helps me limit calories.
    You can find some good information about these on YouTube. I especially like videos posted by Six Miles to Supper and OMAD Revolution.

    Thank you for the welcome on the 17DD. I was on it for 7 mos. and was very successful. I found that being wheat free and limiting processed foods eased my CFS and Fibromyalgia symptoms. Too bad I let those foods back in because they are like an addiction. So Monday it's one day at a time for 17days!
