CHOOSING Health is to Take the High Road~(read on)

ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS: That is the diagnosis given me when I was 28 years old! Was told by an Orthopedist that I would be crippled and in a wheel chair permanently in my forties and be disabled. I refused to accept that 'dooms day' sentence ..... After defying the crippling effects this brings, with my spine completely fused , I went through unbelievable pain and still have stiffness but ..... many years later, I continue working in health care full time, have centered my life around fitness and exercise and beat all odds!~A rheumatologist who treated me remarked, " whatever you are doing keep it up" ...(swimming and lots of walking) plus most of all, I am a believer.... And my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has brought me through much peril into a place of victory and fulfillment..

"The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins."

Rain, rain, rain! Supposed to get a break today. Flash flood watch till 7 am. We’re going out to breakfast and we’ll see how the downtown area is.

Otherwise, it’s pretty wet out there, so indoors for today.

HUGS and enjoy your Saturday AND the long weekend!

When babies take their first step and then fall on their bottoms we praise the first step. We don't criticize the fall. I think we adults could learn a lesson here. We spend more time criticizing our falls and not enough time applauding our small steps.
