If you are looking for a flogging, I can work with you.

I'm retired National Guard and use to hard workouts. I'm working on losing my next 10 pounds. You can friend me if you like. I make no excuses and accept none.

However, it's your journey and your goals. Spark has all the tools here if you seek them out. My recommendation is to login every day and journal every calorie as if it's your religion. Exercise helps, but journaling is the most important.

Look at my progrees report and see how I have set and met my goals. Look for new challenges and meet the challenge. It's one step at a time that works. Don't be afraid to fail and keep pushing forward. It's within all of us to reach our goals.

Keep in mind that we did not gain weight over night and it will not go away over night. Many people get discouraged and quit. It is those with goals who succeed.

    Best of luck to you.

You'll find a lot of good & credible information here with the articles and a wonderfully supportive community. As others have said, getting active on a team is a good way to keep up your motivation. Many have on-going challenges; e.g., tracking every day, getting x number of steps, drinking 8 cups of water...And you can log in and check your progress and post your progress....and get encouragement.

Check in to the challenges; personally I like the small changes one as you get small daily pointers that you can incorporate into your life.
