Linda - you are right...another baby boomer here. Lots of Linda's in my classes in school also. I named my daughter Lauren thinking it was a beautiful name. Little did I know that there would also be thousands of Laurens as well. emoticon

DH wholesales tile (and marble and granite and slate), but has never worked for a company which manufactured tile. He's taken a good many salespeople to manufacturing facilities though. Like yours, he can pretty much tell whose tile it is when he enters a space, be it a store or restaurant. When we visit a new restaurant, he always checks out the bathrooms to see what they chose to install. Of course, the first place he looks is the wall, then the floor. In his large shower downstairs, he has five different hard surfaces, including granite, field tile and glass decos. I call it "the showroom delight." Strangely, I suppose, I will not allow tile on my kitchen floor. Too hard on the back and dangerous to any glass that might fall.
