Maintaining on the sliding scale and beyond. Life has given me enough endless challenges! I need to keep learning how to cope with them, as this is life! No one said it would be easy or fair. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Retirement has brought me to the time in my life that I’m the healthiest I have ever been.
my favorite challenge is eating one pound of veggies a day. Half cooked and half raw.

Think about Week 1:
1. Am I satisfied with my finish?
2. Did I participate to the best of my ability? Yes
3. Did I read and take advantage of the fun activities my Leaders work hard to provide for me? Yes
4. Did I read a blog, visit a page or send a Goodie to someone on my team? Yes
5. How can I improve during Week 2, and 3, and ... until final weigh-in?

    ==== emoticon ====AND IMAGINE==== emoticon ====

Recall the things that have held you back.
And imagine how you now can get beyond them.
Think of the problems that have frustrated you so.
And imagine how you can now rise above them.
Look at how far you've come.
And imagine how far you can now go.
Think of all that you've learned.
And imagine what you can now do with that knowledge.
Consider all you've done in the past year.
And imagine what you'll now be able to do.
You're now in a better position than ever to imagine the very best.
And what you can imagine will lead to what you can be.
    ~~Ralph Marston~~

Just a note to say "Hello". I'm glad you're feeling better and I hope you will have a Sparktacular Sunday.

"Nobody will protect you from your suffering. You can't cry it away or eat it away or starve it away or walk it away or punch it away or even therapy it away. It's just there, and you have to survive it. You have to endure it. You have to live through it and love it and move on and be better for it and run as far as you can in the direction of your best and happiest dreams across the bridge that was built by your own desire to heal. Therapists and friends can help you along the way, but the healing--the genuine healing, the actual real-deal, down-on-your-knees-in-the-mud change--is entirely and absolutely up to you."-Cheryl Strayed, Brave Enough

We have to hurt in order to know.
    Fall in order to grow,
    lose in order to gain,
because most of life's lesson are taught through pain.

Pain makes you stronger, tears make you braver.
Heartbreak makes you wiser. So thank the past for a better future.

The future belongs to the few of us who are willing to get our hands dirty.
