No, only one book launching soon (I hope!). I released two last year, but a lot of that has to do with people helping me with the technical stuff (that I am woefully lacking). I'm somewhat caught up now. I did the NANO (national novel writing in a month) thing and I have two rough drafts that I hope to complete this year, but if I get one done, that's good too.

When will your next one be available?

Oh that's great! I wouldn't have caught it had I not just read it.

I want to look at your kitchen blog too, so if it seems like I'm stalking here a bit, just ignore me.

Realizing writers don't always have much time to read, I'll only mention that IF you want to check out my books, they are on Amazon under Lynne E. Scott. My next one should launch in the next week. They may not be to your liking and that's okay too!

No, you really deserve to do a happy dance. You strike a nice tone. The "holy apple sauce" (or whatever) and the derivatives were really fun. I enjoy those "little" touches that show the writer is enjoying the story.

Good Job on your book, Abby! I really did enjoy it.

Now, this may be a reach, but I'm wondering if Westley the horse is named after Westley in the Princess Bride. I just finished reading that book so it's stuck in my head!

Yes, I have thick skin too - I think it's necessary when you put your work "out there." I got a really nasty review on one of mine that I think was pretty unfair. It stung for a day but sometimes when it's just so over the top, you figure others can discern as well.

I'm enjoying that your characters are not stereotypes and both your heroes are easy to identify with...not that I am a florist....but I like those touches.

You are very gracious - good for you!

I'd be happy to write you a review. Reading your book was my reward for finishing edits on my next one. Plus, I just came back from visiting a friend in TX and we were kidding around about marrying a cowboy, so I just had to read it!

    Wishing you every success!
