I also created a challenge called Peak of the Week. We use Wednesday to focus on a harder or longer than the rest of the week. It's kind of a more positive spin on the old word Hump Day which sounds so negative to me. For instance I usually do 30 min of cardio 6 days a week. And Coach Nicole's arm and shoulder and core w/o's on Mon. Wed. Fri. But on Wednesdays I try to do something NEW or ADD MINUTES to my w/o's. I think it might help break plateaus. Info about this challenge is on the same October blog as Cardio through the Country. 1875 days ago

Adrienne, On the homeschool team we have a game going called Cardio through the Country that's pretty fun. I put all the states in order according to how many letters were in each state name. We began with the lowest number, Ohio, Iowa, and Utah. For every 10 minutes of cardio we cross off a letter in the state we are on. When we finish that state we can mark it off the map, write the date and maybe even your weight on it. Then we move on to the next state. One of my OCTOBER blogs have the state list and a link to a blank state map you can print out. lol I'm in Wyoming right now! :) We thought it would be fun to do to pass the winter months. 1875 days ago

I've been over weight most of my adult life after having kids. In 2012 I got serious about health & fitness and she's about 30 lbs, maintained for over a year and it's creeping back on. I really need to focus on food to reach my goal again. Good luck 1876 days ago
