Like I said, I'm not really in the market for a substitute right now, but from what I can tell, when you do want the flavor but not the calories sugar and fat, this sounds like the best way to go... now if I were to add a couple peanuts to make it crunchy... hmmm.
But then, I know that given how much I love PB--I sit and eat spoonsful at my desk for a snack at work, even--that as much as I'd like to eat it every day, my gallbladderlessness sometimes makes it hard for my body to process the fat, even healthy fats. So, that makes it even more appealing...
The lady at my class mixed some up for us the other day, I should have mentioned, and instead of adding sugar, she added splenda. I couldn't really tell the difference. 2480 days ago
