A warrior smothered underneath years of broken resolutions, harsh relationships, lost potential, wasted opportunities. I keep turning away because I can't stand the stench of it. My constitution of passionate, idealistic zeal is replaced by burden of what my failures have produced. My constant pushing toward change probing for new pathways, new attempts but always being thwarted by my own failings.

Multiple Usernames on SparkPeople, Multiple Tracking Sites and Trackers, Books, Diets, Devices, Supplements, Diet Journals, Spreadsheets, Vision Boards, Pacts with Friends, Important Life Events. Years of tries and failures. I think I re-started more than 3x this year alone. All I ever see is a date, a recommitment, a plan and then empty pages until I once again hit rock bottom and became so disgusted, I once again re-dedicate.

What makes it different this time?
Only time will tell. What has worked for me in the past is constant vigilance, tracking, and discipline.

Will I win?
I hope so. I do feel that 40 years of failures and loss keeps me so overwhelmed but.... I am not giving up.
