I love my family, music, art and often see God through my camera lens. I am a stay at home wife and mom and live in Texas. Too many blessings to count.
And I have learned that Not just being good at something is enough. Important life value for me : Friends are very important and treating all people with kindness must be remembered.

My husband is the incredible encourager in my life. He is with me when things get tough. He loves to take on challenges and win. And he wins a lot! He is a hard working father and husband. He helped me find the phrase that I say to myself when I am tempted. Stick to the plan . It works for me. I have hope that I will become who I wish to be with these words of encouragement.
I have learned to exercise in only a way where I am smiling and enjoying myself. Example, Zumba, Ice Skating, Line dancing, Gardening, walking, and now I am learning how to Clog. I am also rewarding myself every 5 pounds and this time I am redeeming them. Before I never really did. But now I believe that I am worth the effort. I am worth it. I am worth it because I am a child of God, a wife of an awesome husband, a mom to the best kids ever, a daughter to two very special parents, a sister to an amazing woman and brother, an aunt, a cousin, a granddaughter, and a friend to so many special people. I mean so much to people and they mean so much to me. And that is why I am worth it.

Saw your comment on this week's "weigh-in" page about having a hard time sticking with your calorie count after 3pm. Just wanted to let you know your not alone in that area. The same goes for me. Seems like I can go along most of the day just fine and then all "heck" breaks loose. Thinking I should maybe rethink some of my meals and snacks and then I might get past that block?

Anyway, good luck with this week's challenges. See ya on the Flamingo boards.

Just stopping by to say hi! Hope you are doing well and off to a great 2020! Things have been hectic for me but I'm slowly getting back on track. Don't let one day or one week de-rail you! You can do it! Keep up the good work! Your ice skating sounds awesome! Debbie

Thanks for your comment on my post about the funeral. No, not Fort Worth (thank heavens!), we’re in Uxbridge, Ontario. Both men were elderly, (94 and 89), but still sad to lose them.

Thanks for commenting on my page!

I must admit, being so close to my sister and helping her and my brother in law raise their kids has been a true blessing for me. It's nice to share that with someone else who also shares a closeness with her sister!

    Happy holidays!!!

Good Morning: was looking at the posts on our Flamingo Board and noticed you had a gain this week and was thinking you would be kicked off the team. I sure hope you were only joking. No one gets kicked off the team. I ended the last 2 challenges with a gain. We all go through the trials of losing and gaining. That's the point of the team - to have people there rooting for you. I'm in your corner. Don't stress, just make it through the holidays!
