GIRLINMOTION
Hello and welcome to the beginning of your journey to a healthier lifestyle.
SparkPeople really works, but the key is you and consistency. Find and join SparkTeams that fit your interests and needs (best place to talk to friends you have never met, and get all the support and motivation you will need). Stay active on your teams by joining in the challenges and post frequently. Track your food; drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (challenge yourself to work your way up to it if you are finding this difficult). Add different exercises to your day (start off slowly and increase the amount of exercise over time). Take baby steps, and before you know it those baby steps become giant leaps.
SparkPeople is free, but the rewards are priceless.

YAY!!! Thanks! I was a little surprised when I got on the scale this morning and it was showing me at a 9 lb total loss. I got off of the scale, stood there a minute trying to decide what to do, stood back on it and it said the same thing. I then repeated this process for about the next five minutes. It said the same thing every time. So, now I'm thrilled.
The only problem I'm having is, I don't think I look any different. I took my measurements and they're about the same, give or take a 1/4 of an inch here and there, and my clothes aren't getting any looser, really. Maybe I'm just being critical. Hubby tells me I might need to give it another 10 lbs before I see any significant difference. I have no idea. I mean, the only thing I can say with certainty is that I feel really good and my clothes are fitting a tiny bit better, even if I didn't drop any sizes.
Love ya, big hugs from me to your boys!! Keep fightin' the good fight, sis.

Went to the store for somethings and came home with a ton of fresh fruit and veggies. I got Butternut squash (great for the summer, steamed, Mmmm!!), Roma tomatoes, peaches, grapes, bananas, baby carrots, and mushrooms! I also got some frozen and canned because it's cheaper and lasts longer. lol.
They had something strange... canary melons. I hate melon and wasn't sure if Matt would like it, so I didn't get it. It's sort of yellowish and smooth on the outside. Have you tried it? 4618 days ago

I'm not having any fruit for breakfast either and pretty much for the same reason as you. It's already 10am and it's time for me to get out and get some walking done. So, I had a special k bar and milk, that's just gonna have to be enough until I have time to sit down and actually eat the apple sauce... I really need to get some more fresh fruit!! Think I might go to the store today and get some of that stuff.
Hope you have a good day, hun. I really didn't have a great day yesterday and for the first time, the Alli decided to prove to me it's working. lol. Yikes!!
But, you're right about one thing, the next time we see one another we're going to be fabulous!

Hey!! I see you got your weightview pic back!! Looks awesome. They're a great motivator huh? I know mine was. I can't wait until I can take a pic and say... this is me, not a modified pic, but me!
