Anita's 5K Training
I am a 46 year old married woman that is training for her first 5K. My husband is the one who encouraged me to try to do this and now I won't quit till I achieve it. I just signed up for my first 5K. It is on May 5th so that gives me approximately 3 months to train.

My goal is not to only finish my first 5K but also not to come in last place!
****Update to weight goal****
Since I am almost at my initial weight goal of 145 by May 5th, I am changing my goal to 140 by May 5th.
My Program:
3 days per week run on the treadmill and ride a stationary bike and 2 days a week water aerobics and lap swimming.

Results: 31.08 minutes, 81st out of 128
Wed, Jun 23rd 7pm Tex Mex 5K for Open Space at Tex Mex Restaurant in North Wales, 878 out of 1241, 33.06 mins, hotter than hell!
Sun, Aug 29th 8am 5K at Lehigh Valley Zoo/Trexler Game Preserve,
Proceeds benefit Lehigh Valley Zoo
Sat, Sept 25th 9am, "Bruiser" Memorial 5K run, Lehigh Parkway, Allentown, PA
Proceeds benefit Canine Cancer Research.
