    Yes thank you... I would love to make a burger from this crumble... maybe use black beans as the binder... what others can you recommend.. me as well I don't think I will purchase the bacon again... nothing like the real thing though it was not bad

    Hey there, in Feb. 2015 I was diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid. Most people with a thyroid issue are hypo. At that time I was also having IBS issues and the Drs. could not figure out why. All tests, and I mean ALL tests, were either normal or negative. Apparently, a hyperactive thyroid can cause symptoms of other ailments to be more severe. I did a little research and it is amazing how many body functions the thyroid controls, including heart rhythm and beats per minute. I lost 22 lbs. in 3 weeks, not good in this situation, and 30 lbs. total. I could lose 3-4 lbs. a day. It was weird and scary. But with medication, my thyroid numbers have become normal and then I gained all the weight back and then some. Last year about this time, I had a racing heart rate twice. Beats per minute top out at 196 and then settled at 164. The second time not as bad. But I now know how to get it to go back to normal. Then I was having a number of heart palpitations per minute. Everybody has them and can be brought on by a number of things, including thyroid issues and getting older. But one of my thyroid numbers was a little off and when we adjusted my medication it has corrected or minimized the issue. But these heart issues caused me to become very inactive and affected me psychologically. I didn't know what I should or shouldn't do as far as exercise and intensity. And this was hard because I have always been an active person. I had just tested for my 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and I wanted to continue training for my 3rd Degree. Very frustrating. But as more time has passed with no more issues, I have slowly started exercising again and increasing the intensity. I feel good and plan on continuing to increase exercise and intensity a little at a time. I am 54 yrs old now and I have decided it is better for me now, to do things a little more slowly than I would have 10 years ago. When I was younger I would have jumped right back into it and to heck with everything else. Maybe I am a little wiser now LOL. Take care and if you ever need anything, just get in touch.
