update May 2011 - I have gained weight and now my amazing boyfriend has become my live in trainer/nutritionist/bad guy who keeps me from eating too much =) I just know I'll do it this time. I have everything in the world going for me!

update September 2011 - I have now officially lost 15 pounds! I have NEVER lost more then 10 pounds at a time =) I feel more and more like I'm actually doing this. I'm taking things one pound at a time. Seriously. I can do this if I just stay focused on that one pound at a time =)

update November 2011 - I have reached the 25 pounds GONE marker! I'm staying steady with portion control and I'm starting to walk/jog as a consistent workout. I'm actually finding that I rather enjoy it! Probably because it's nice to get out of the house to work out. My goal is to get to 160 by Thanksgiving! I have 2 weeks and 4 pounds to go to get to my half way marker!

update January 2012 - So I reached my half way goal of 160 in December of 2011 and have since been hovering in the 162-160 range. I have not been motivated, but that's ok! My new moto is "The best way to start, is to just start!" I am sticking with this until further notice =) Lets everyone MAKE this a good year!

Update April 2012 - I have continued to "maintain" through out the last three months. Apparently I know how to maintain. And I know that I know how to lose weight because I've already made it half way. I took my extended break and now I'm back. Ready to fight the good fight. Ready to continue to change my habits =)

Update March 2015 - Back in November 2013 I reached 140 pounds and was able to keep it off for close to a year. However, my dad underwent major surgery and was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. I quickly gained back 30 pounds during that time. In January of this year, my dad passed away. It has been the hardest time of my life. I have been stuck in a rut and dealing with depression. I realized that I need to take small steps to come out of this. That is when I remembered Sparkpeople. So here I am, crawling my way out of a hole. I can do this, and I know I can!

    I did like it better that I did the workout in reverse. I just got done with the first week. I start Level 2 tonight! I do feel a difference and man does it make those muscles sore lol
    I don't know how many people are in the challenge at work but something is better than nothing. I'm excited for it though.
    My weigh in yesterday didn't go as great as I thought it would. And then i realized I actually only lost 1 lb altogether the month of September so that was a bummer for me. I've already got all my goals and plans for October. I have to get out of these stupid 160s and I'm going to do it!!! Gotta any changed planned for October?
    I watchd a couple episodes of Once Upon a Time...there was a marathon going on and I got into it but then I didn't keep up with me. My sister tells me about the episodes every so often. I have do many shows I DVR that I barely keep up with. I'm excited for the season premiere of Dexter tonight!! There's so may good TV shows. It's so hard to keep up with all of the! This summer we got Netflix so I got addicted to How I Met Your Mother. I found out I missed the season premier of the new season though hahaha I'll try and find it on the internet cause i'm sure its out there lol Enjoy Once Upon a Time :]

    Thanks for checking in on me. I've actually been doing pretty good too. Just some mess ups here and there. I just get myself right back on track though. I haven't peeked at the scale in a couple days but I'm hoping I'll be back down to 163 by tomorrow. I'll be happy with any kind of loss really lol. im glad to see you at 160!! youll be in the 150s in no time!! SO CLOSE!! Ripped is actually going pretty good for me. I hate that its so repetitive but I wrote down the workouts last night so tonight I'm going to do them in reverse and play my own music hahaha

    Oct 1 were starting a biggest loser challenge at work thats going to go until Jan 1...keeping us focused through the holidays!! I'm actually excited to start it so I can stay focused!! and a little money would be nice to win :]

    I'm horrible when it comes to dinner too!! Especially on days that i work lol I actually started Ripped in 30 yesterday and it actually wasn't too bad. Just gotta keep with it now.
