Vegan power!


I've been a vegetarian since childhood and I recently decided to cut all animal products from my diet. I have also decided to quit smoking. I'm expecting to see results in nearly every area of my life.

    I am new to the “art for an audience of one…His name is JESUS” team. I am a christian mother of 1 daughter who is a super talented artist. I have been trying to motivate her for a while, so I built a website sponsoring a christian art contest. I am hoping this will motivate her to get serious about her work when she sees other Christians that are serious about art. I just started the site and can really use some support getting it going.     I've only been vegan for a couple of weeks myself but I went cold turkey and hard core. I read the book "Skinny Bitch" (there's a team here for it) and I was so shocked and disgusted. I knew some of what was in the book but not nearly all of it. The things in the eggs, milk, etc. that come in through the animals that produce them....ick.

    It can be hard to find things without any animal products in them but they're out there. They're usually really good too. Maybe we can start this journey together and help each other learn and figure this vegan thing out.
