So here I am, having obviously neglected myself for the past 10+ years, now I have 98 pounds to lose. Actually, make that 54 - already lost 44 since I started this journey on October 27, 2009! Keep track of my loss on the ticker below.

Doing my best to make it a permanent lifestyle change instead of a 'diet'. If it is a 'diet' then I will have to do it all over again in another few years and that is not what I want to do. Slowly but surely I will make small permanent changes in my habits and by the time I reach my goal, I will just be running on instinct.

Fitness Minutes: 4,515

My Goals:
1. Lose at least 2 lbs. a week.
2. Track everything that I eat.
3. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
4. Cut back and eventually eliminate sodas.
5. Workout at least 4x week.

My Program:
Attend Weight Watchers meetings weekly.

Enter all of the foods that I eat into WW eTools and SparkPeople.

Workout at Curves 4x week.

Married to a wonderful man (PolarBear63) for 19 years (June 15, 2010 will make 20 years!) and have 3 terrific young men.

Zeus (Rottweiler) and Athena (Dachshund), along with our cats, Samantha, Pebbles and Buddy round out this family. I think that is all, unless one of the boys snuck in another animal that I haven't found yet!

RIP to Jill, our 16 yr old Lhasa-Apso and Mary, our 2 yr old pet Rat. You are both greatly missed.
