I'm starting with the woman in the mirror


I've been on sparkpeople a long time - lost the weight, then gained it back again. This program works - as long as you work the program. When the Joplin tornado hit, I was thrown way off, then experienced many other losses. My food habits worsened, my exercise habits were put way off. Now, I'm working on recovery, and feeling ready to concentrate on me again!

My Goals:
It's simple. Carrying around the extra weight hurts my body, hurts my self-esteem, and limits my activities. I want to shed the weight to feel better - inside and out - and be able to do whatever I choose to do!

My Program:
 I'm trying to drink water, eat healthy, (foods and amounts), and my biggest hurdle - incorporate exercise.


Personal Information:
My life is enriched by time spent with friends and family.

Other Information:
 I enjoy walking, movies, coffee, playing games with my family, and just having fun.

    I got this this AM and instantly thought of you deserving one too! Once you've been given this award for a first time, you should paste it on the wall of 8 women (why 8? not sure, that's the rules as they were said to me... choose less if you really want to but, the more you give out, the more of your friends will feel special today and isn't that fun!?!) who deserve it.

    If you receive some in return, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen (I hate those sort of posts like this which promise bad things and never pass those on), but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out and don't you want your lady sparkfriends to feel beautiful today?

    Thanks for your comment on my blog. Yes, my dd's dance teacher is Miss Karen of Karen's Dance Studio. The funeral is Tuesday at 6 at First Presbyterian in Joplin with a reception afterward.
