My New Life...
In July of 2004, I sustained a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) which changed much of what I knew of life... I have since closed my business (very hard) and lived life in small snippets of time. I have always been 'Chunky' (my nickname in high school) and can only credit my TBI with about 15 of my extra pounds... but with added crisis come added learning (I HOPE!).
By gaining my stamina/strength back I hope to ease back into a more active life.
I am not disabled, but ...

I am not disabled, but am DifferentlyAbled. My mind is not as clear as it used to be, but I work very hard at every day life. Some days are not good 'Brain Buck Days' and others I seem dandy.
My family consists of 4 kids (2 young women and 2 young men) two son-in-laws and a partner, and going on SIX grandkids! We have two wee-ones due this summer (2013).My husband and I have been married nearly 20 years (second marriage for both of us). I live on a coastal inlet in WA state and am employed 3/days per week at the department of licensing/wildlife rehab station.
I enjoy gardening and antiquing and have done everything from teaching office skills, to raising pack llamas.
While I am a PAC NW gal (born in Burien, WA) I have lived in OR, GA and CA as NJ and PA as a kid. I am a USA Ping-ponger.

I fell off my wagon of success... now I am back at it. I thought I was further along. Nope.
Sugar is not my friend ( I guess it could be called a 'friend-emy').
NOT GIVING UP!
Personal Information:
I am a double brain injury survivor. I find gaining energy is like gaining life. My weight is bringing me down further again.
I have recently (June of 2011) moved to the Gray's Harbor area of WA state with my husband Jim. We have downsized from our small farm to a 100 year old home in town--shock to the system for sure!
I am married with 4 kids (all grown). I have terrific grandchildren who I adore.
