Formerly known as "Superachiever" here but left a few years ago only to return for the comaraderie and support still needed for me to reach my weight loss goals. Hope you'll warmly welcome me back. I've missed you all. ;)

A lot has happened since I was actively involved here. Presently going through some health matters with my husband. Diagnosed with MDS (a pre-leukemia cancer) around Thanksgiving (2016), he's been going for treatments to keep it under control since then. His mom passed away April 1st (2017) after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer last January. Left with cleaning up her apartment, I can honestly say that I think I've gotten my house back after 5 donation pickups and a lot of throwing and pitching away.

Now I can get on with getting my life and my house in order again. It's been a stressful thing to go through but I think the worst is over now. Now I can look up and finally thank God for everything He's given, everything He's taken away, and everything He has saved for me. Good feeling all around. Nothing but positive and uplifting thoughts and actions from here on end.

Working on getting started again with the FlyLady routine. I love that lady and loved reading her books. They make every obstacle I can think of "doable" and attainable. Wonderful insight and motivation on these matters.

So having worked on a couple of Chicago Med/Chicago Justice expisodes this past year as an extra, I can say I really liked it. Got to know lots of new people and was able to make a difference in what these shows needed.

Always aspiring and looking for new ways to make a difference. Involved in animal fundraisers and loving every minute of that. Always looking for new computer ways to learn and continuing my desire to become a pro at sign language.

Keeping a stiff upper lip and continuing to keep God first in my life through prayers, meditations and devotions. All is well with me and am hoping the same is true with you.

Fitness Minutes: 3,027

My Goals:
Eat better with nothing but nutritious foods, look better by losing more weight (although to date I have lost 30# and have managed to keep it off in large part due to my activities here at SP), feel better, tone up, strengthen the weaker parts of my body and end up with a completely toned up and firmed up body that I will be happy about.


My Program:
Now that I'm in for almost 10 days, I can say that I've got everything back in place (for the most part) and can now get serious about my tracking, logging and successes. I have jumpstarted my yoga routine now and am psyched to continue it on a daily basis. NOTHING makes me feel as good as when I complete these workouts. Talk about being relaxed. It's just something literally undescribable but feel sooooooo gooooood! Anyways, back on track, eating better, exercising and becoming more active which is the secret behind the scenes. it's too easy to sit back and work on the computer all day and blow off what you know is important. Well no more of that. It's going to be getting up at 5am in the morning, having my time with God and then my yoga before I even think about getting ready for the day. So there you have it. I have documented it here and now am holding myself accountable for it. Good luck to all the rest of you as well!



Personal Information:
Still in real estate but branching out more into the investment end of the business but looking for a temp to hire job hopefully as a leasing agent somewhere close to home that will give me a more consistent paycheck which could come in handy these days. Looking to be of service to others in any way I can, especially my husband who has been diagnosed with MDS almost a year ago. Looking to keep my sanity through it all and remain strong with the help of God.
