To answer your question, I started running, and for the last couple of years, I have been doing Jamie Eason's LiveFit program from Bodybuilding.com. Just google Jamie Eason LiveFit and you'll find it easy! It's an awesome program that can be tailored for any level - beginner through advanced. I actually went back and looked the other day at the logs that I kept from my first round of the program. Where I was using 5lb dumbbells at one point, I am up to 15-20 lbs now! It's exciting to see the progress and the body changes.
There is a team here on SP for the program too, if you are interested. There are a couple of us posting regularly, but not many. One of my friends who is doing it with me keeps in touch mostly through FB or the BodySpace app on BB.com.
