Yes, I took the photos on my blog. I don't feel comfortable taking photos of the homeless sleeping outdoors. I'm kind of scared being a woman alone so I ride my bike by. One weekend trash, old sleeping bags, etc. were everywhere, 2 weeks later it was cleaned up. I don't know if the city paid employees clean up or volunteers.
I wish I had the courage to speak to the homeless sleeping in tunnels under the street to ask them questions and tell them about the church food banks. 1231 days ago

I've been meaning to get back to you about that Costco rotisserie chicken. I thought it was very good, but it wasn't as popular with the family as I expected it would be. The texture was a little rubbery, and my younger daughter objected to the fact that it came all the way from Brazil (I mean, that was a loooong flight for that frozen chicken). Add to that the fact that Costco here is a pretty long drive from my house and always super-crowded, and I don't think rotisserie chicken will become a regular thing for us. However, I must remain a member of Costco because of the turkey I buy for our Christmas dinner--the low price alone justifies the yearly membership fee. And I love Bounty paper towels, so far superior in quality to the Japanese brands.
Anyway, I'm sure I've given you too much information, but couldn't refrain!
I hope you are fine. I've been inconsistent here at SP and hope to keep in better touch. I enjoy hearing about your activities and thoughts. Have a great Monday! Mine's almost halfway over. 1286 days ago
