I have been on this journey for a very long time. I got on Sparkpeople years ago and was able to lose 27lbs. I went from 168lbs to 141lbs for my 21st birthday and was the healthiest, most fit me I had ever been.

I began to let myself go again. It was easy at first and then due to my grandfather passing and a number of other of life's setbacks, I emotionally ate my way back to 178lbs. The heaviest I have EVER been. Last summer I began working out and was able to get down to around 160lbs. I have been maintaining that weight for the past year and now, I am ready to get down to my original goal weight of 125 lbs! I will succeed this time.

I have become so motivated lately that I have decided to become a personal trainer and help others on their weight loss journeys. This has been inspiring me to keep pushing harder with my own exercise program. I know I can do it! I just cannot give up or give in. I have to undo the damage I have done over the past 3 years. And then comes maintenance. But one day at a time.

I am also in the process of quitting smoking. Another bad habit I have to get rid of. This is my time!!!!

My Goals:
I am currently 157 lbs and am working for a total body transformation to 125lbs.

I know the trails and tribulations of diet and exercise and weight loss/gain, I have recently made the switch in careers. I am a certified personal trainer and working for my Zumba certification. Helping myself has sparked a desire to help others!

As I work on myself and learn and grow in wellbeing I am hoping to be able to do the same and inspire others as well.

My Program:
My program will consist of cardio at least 50 mins a day at least 5 days a week and strength training 3 days a week in the beginning.

I would like to work up to 2-3 hours of cardio, potentially both in the morning and at night.

I will try to stay btwn 1000-1200 cals a day while making healthy food choices.

Personal Information:
I'm from a small town outside of New Orleans called Destrehan, Louisiana. I'm 24 years old and graduated from NYU with a BFA in Drama.
