#BeforeAndAfter long time ago. My highest weight was 275 and 250 when I joined Sparkpeople. Regretfully, I took many breaks from this great program, but keep coming back. This time I hope to stay for good.

*waves hello* Ya know, I have this theory about why Americans are heavier than other nationalities. Generally, our ancestors had to survive crossing the Atlantic by boat over weeks or even months. Even then, food would have been scarce in most early settlements, (at least, more scarce than in Europe and Africa). Basically, if your family has been here for more than six or seven generations, your ancestors wouldn't have survived without the low metabolism! *shrug* Just a theory. (Please, just ignore the insomniac, we'll have her under control in just a moment...) 5121 days ago

Happy belated-birthday and anniversary to my fellow aquarian and Coloradan! Your intro statements sound soooo familiar...I come from a family very similiar. Clean your plate...there are starving children in ??? Any way, hard to erase those messages and replace them with our own positive ones, but not impossible (we can do it). I live in rural SE Colorado...Thanks for the welcome! 5127 days ago
