Just wanted to stop by and wish you good luck with your scans tomorrow! Hope they don't make you wait too long to get this resolved and get rid of your gallbladder/pain. Let us know how things went tomorrow if you're up to it! Lots of prayers and gentle hugs sent your way, Marsha 2979 days ago
That's a shame your husband has to work. Good that you get to be with your Father, though. Your cauliflower dish sounds yummy, I love cauliflower that way! Of course, the green beans casserole is a staple. Are you using the low-fat soup in it? Wish I'd have thought of that, because you really can't tell the difference. We're also celebrating my Mother's, one of my son-in-law's and my birthday that day, so along with the dutch apple pie, that is a requirement for that day, I'm making a carrot cake, well Duncan Hines and I are! Bad Marsha, bad Marsha!!
Well, I have to leave in an hour to go have an epidural steroid injection (fungus-free, I hope!) in my lower spine. As awful as that sounds, I'm looking forward to the 2 month period of pain relief from my "severe spinal stenosis." Like one of my older friends said after being diagnosed with breast cancer, "Hey, if you live long enough, something's bound to go wrong with you!" Love her attitude!
Have a great weekend! Baby steps back to Sparking along!
We've all had pitfall, the best thing we can do is accept that we made mistakes, write down our goals for teh future and walk towards those goals. We can do this! 2986 days ago
I'm so glad you're feeling better! Are you staying home and "hosting" Thanksgiving dinner this year or are you going to be on the road? I'm the host again this year, but my family will be going to a big, traditional dinner somewhere else for their noon meal, so we are having a more casual , smaller dinner for the evening meal, which does not necessarily mean lower in calories! Especially since we will be celebrating 3 birthdays that day, too! My mantra next week is going to be "Portion control, portion control, portion control!!"
