Thank you for your comment on my blog. It is a lot to deal with at times. I find myself now taking on that role of making sure my Mom rests without getting overwhelmed myself. It's scary. My parents are still relatively active, but my dad's health has its challenges and even more recently, he's going through something else. But his spirits are high and he keeps chugging along. I'm thankful that they both can walk, see, and drive. But I do have to step in. My mom can't release control on some things but then gets overwhelmed, which sucker-punches me when I want to help. But I have to understand that this is stressful for her. She tries so much to be independent. But she gets in over her head at times with cooking and cleaning and running about town. Even I can't keep up the schedule she keeps. And then making sure that my dad doesn't get over tired or strain himself, but he's just like her. They like to push that envelope. God love 'em though.

Thank you for your support and feedback. It helps.

Hey girl.. hanks for that sweet comment on my blog. Do NOT give up on your journey. You are worth every effort it takes for the reward at the end. Just keep, keeping on. It may come off slow, but as long as it is coming off, WHO CARES? Either it's coming off slow, or you give up? Wouldn't you rather it just come off slow? Besides, slow and easy wins the race. You will get there, as long as you keep trying.

Positive thinking and positive attitude..Keep them both and you will do great! Good luck on your journey..

    Hugs
