I wanted to update my page since it has been over a year since I have started my Adventure at Sparkpeople.

This has been the most awesome and crazy journey I have ever taken in my life. I have made goals and succeeded at many of them, learned so much about myself, and discovered that even failure can be something used for my good.

Now that I have reached my goal I want to continue to encourage others with their own adventure. I want to give back to those who have helped me along the way and become someone who can also help others. I'm not always good at doing that, but I hope to become better.

My words of advice right now to others is that it is possible, and it is worth it!

My Goals:
In the beginning, my goal was to loose weight in a proper and healthy way. I wanted to become more educated about how to do this and use that education to better myself. Now that I have reached my weight goal I have a whole new set of goals.

1. I want to build up my muscles and become stronger.

2. I want to maintain a good healthy weight and discover new things to incorporate into my new lifestyle.

3. I want to show to my family and friends that this hasn't been a diet, but that it is a new lifestyle and a new me.

4. To continue to believe in myself and have that spread out into the rest of my life as well.

5. To try new things and make this a continuing adventure!

My Program:
I have been and are continuing to count my calories using Spark. For me, that really has been one of the keys to reaching my goals.

I am trying a lot of different types of cardio that I haven't tried before. I had to give up karate due to injury, but I'm okay with that and I keep trying new things!

Cardio is usually at least 3 to 4 times a week. I am planning on getting together with my sister Jacinda who is a personal trainer and setting up a weight training plan that I can do 2 to 3 times a week.

Personal Information:
I am single and live in Utah. I have been overweight for most of my life, so I am very grateful to Sparkpeople for helping to educate me in taking control of my health. I am grateful to my sister Jacinda for introducing me to Spark and helping me all along the way!
I love learning and trying new things, and I love working with my sisters. They inspire me to new heights!
