So, i must update here. I had lost the weight when i first joined spark but now i am back at it again 4 years later and 33 years old. I will leave my old intro here as it took forever to type. Since then i gained it all back and cannot seem to stay motivated and work hard enough to get anywhere. I don't know why. What am I doing not doing now that I did before? I have a group on fb. I set just started posting challenges this week. I hope it helps me and my group get moving. Eating right is evern harder than moving my butt. I need all the help I can get.

Hello, I am 29 yrs old. I am a stay at home mom of 2 girls Lana (12/8/05) and Mia (1/6/08). I am also a proud army wife! I never had issues with my weight until about a year before I got pregnant with my first child. I was the thin one who didn't have to work for it. I never really paid attention to what I ate. It wasn't all bad but could have been much better. Now I really have to watch everything I eat. I wasn't really active once I got into High school. I was pretty lazy. I have never been good at sports. I have 2 left feet lol. Even though I was thin I wasn't healthy. I was what they are now calling skinny fat. Thin but my body fat percentage was still high. The only muscle I really had was in my legs.

I first started exercising after I had my first child. It took me a year and 3 months to go from 150 to 130. I was 170 at the end of my pregnancy but the first 20 lbs came off in 6 months. Just when I figured out what changes I needed to make to get more results I got pregnant again. I hope this time I can get back to my normal weight. I don't plan on having anymore kids. My husband still wants more....we will see I guess. He really wants a boy. I don't know that I want to keep trying until we have one. What if I end up with 8 girls first? lol! Maybe when both girls are in school I will want another?

Anyway, I like to exercise but the problem is finding time to do it. My girls are still very young and need lots of attention. Lana is almost 3 and Mia is 14 months. It's hard to get them to nap at the same time. Lana gets into anything and everything she can possibly get into! She also has enough energy for 2 kids! She's definitely hyperactive and talks too much lol! I can't ever think anymore cause she won't stop talking. Plus they both like to get up under me when I do exercise! I really don't want to kick or hurt them in anyway!

I know some of you might read this and think I am at a good weight now. I am only 4'11". I am freaking short! I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. If I don't lose some weight my Dr says my chances of getting type 2 diabetes is high. I don't know that it runs in my family but 1 of my great grandmothers had diabetes. No one remembers what type she had. Even if I don't get back to my goal weight I need to get under 120 lbs to be and stay healthy.

If you look in my pics you will see that at 140lbs I still look pregnant! I am getting so tired of being asked so when is this baby due? UGH! You will see a lot of pics from 2004. My weight went up and down a lot that year. I started out too skinny at 100 lbs. I had lost a lot of weight when my hubby (then boyfriend) was in Iraq. He was gone a year. It was when the war had just started. I was glued to the t.v. hoping nothing had happened to him. I didn't get to talk to him but once ever 2-3 months. I was so scared! I ended up having really bad anxiety problems. I didn't leave the house much at all!

Then 7 months after he got back we got married. I was up to 120. I never weighed that much before. I guess it was the stress of planing a wedding? Later that year I was up to 130. My father-in-law passed away just 2 months after we got married. We were going back and forth from Tn to Ohio to see him as much as we could. It just started out as a trip to the hospital with a broken hip (2 weeks after the wedding) and went down hill from there. It was very unexpected. Who knew he would even be in the hospital that long? Then we moved from all the way from TN to Hawaii! Talk about a stressful move! I had just moved out of my parents house for the first time right before we got married. I was pretty stressed about moving so far away from my family but my husband is in the army so what could I do? We drove from TN to CA. If we flew in from CA instead of Tn so we could get our car to us 6 weeks sooner.

Anyway, I got pregnant on our road trip lol. I think it happened when we were in Vegas lol. We stayed there 2 nights. If not is was in CO. We spent the night there a night too. Our first day in Hawaii was March 3rd, 2005. I didn't know I was pregnant until March 19th.

So, I went though a lot of major life changes in a short amount of time!!!!!!! I don't think I would have had so many ups and downs with my weight that year if so many things weren't all happening at once! I still don't know how I made it though it all without going crazy!

I think I look best anywhere from 110-115. Being 120 wasn't bad but it started showing in my face and my belly. Of course I don't really know this time what weight I will look best at. After having kids my body shape has changed some. I have old pics somewhere of me at 130 before I had kids. If I ever find them I will add them here. I didn't look as big then as I do now at the same weight (esp my belly and thighs). If you actually read all of this thanks! It's very long. Sorry!
