I joined to give myself some more supports and resources for getting back on track and making things happen for myself again! I had lost almost 60 pounds prior to last summer but gained 20 pounds back after some baseball injuries (and So I'm excited to get back on track and feel good again!

I just wanted to say that at 25 years old I definately still have so much more to learn and don't pretend to have all the answers about myself or life in general. However, through looking at myself over the past few years, it has taught me sooo much about loving myself and needing to give that gift to me in order to EVER be able to give anything to anyone else.
I started recognizing the impact of my early life situations when I was 17 years old. It has definately been a LONG 6 years but so enlightening. I think that one of the most important parts about looking at yourself, learning and growing is believing that you deserve to get the help that your seeking out, whatever, or however that may be.
I have set myself up over the years by saying that "This person isn't right for me, or I don't feel comfortable with them. I will eat whatever I want, you only live once, etc, etc..." When in all actuality looking back I think I was just terrified of what emotions or realities would come up throughout my journey if I let walls down.
I know for me after dabbling into it for a year or so, I had to ask myself, "Do I want to be the same person when I am on my death bed?" (Sorry if that sounds harsh)
I don't want to live my life in a role, so scared to be the TRUE me for fear that I don't deserve it or that someone will take advantage of me when I show real true feelings and emotions. When you are able to give that TRUE self to the world the world WILL give back to you and it is a huge gift to EVERYONE in your life, but mostly, it is the most amazing gift you can give yourself.

Fitness Minutes: 223

My Goals:
My goal right now is to lose 49 pounds. That would bring me to 180 pounds. I will see how I feel when I get there or get closer at least.

~I want to get to the gym at least 4x/ ideal is 5x/week (Sun-Thurs)

~Drink at least 8 glassess of water per day.
~Stay within calorie range (1200-1500)
~Eat less sodium
~Plan out my meals for the week
~Limit junk food (especially the stuff I can't handle like chips)

Self Care:
~Follow nutrition and exercise goals
~Journal when I feel "off"
~Get on the forums as much as I can
~Start to blog sometime in the near future

~*Eliminate Excuses*~

My Program:
Right now I'm just trying to get my diet under control as I'm pretty much a junk food Not quite but it is a struggle.
I enjoy sports in the summer
I'm excited to be back at the gym. I usually do a half hour cardio and then strength training...or an hour of straight cardio if my muscles are too sore.

Personal Information:
My name is obviously, Brittany! I'm 25 years old. I'm from a fairly small town in Ontario, Canada. I work as a Child and Youth Worker at a youth treatment centre for mental health and addictions. I work shift work which also makes it a challenge to stick with my program...but I'm determined!

Other Information:
I love my job, the outdoors, baseball, movies, hanging out with friends, and just LIFE in general!!
