6/2/11 - Here we go! I'm back! With some embarrassing news. I lost 40 pounds between August 2008 and March 2009. And since then I've been slooooowly slipping my good habits, and I've gained back almost 25 lbs! Not good.

The worst part is I know what I need to do to change. But my brain is saying 'no it's okay, be lazy and eat that junk food instead.'

I've tried many times since March 2009 to re-kickstart myself and my good habits. I go strong for about a week, and then cave on one thing...then another...then another. And I wind up disappointed with myself yet again.

So by seriously returning back to Sparkpeople I'm hoping the community here can keep me in check!

Below is my original introduction text when I joined back in 2008. Wow, has it been that long?

I'm ready to make a change! There have been a lot of lazy habits in my life for the past three years and I'm ready to get rid of them.

Bye bye extra pounds. Hello sleek toned body.

I am 5 foot 6 inches. My goal weight is 120 lbs. However, once I hit the 130 pound mark, I am going to evaluate myself. Evaluate my body, my nutrition, my energy level, etc. And if I feel 100% satisfied with myself at 130, I will stay 130 lbs. 120 lbs is the low end of the healthy BMI scale for me, so I don't want to look too skinny and emaciated!

I love looking at other member's Spark Pages and finding people with similar goals to mine. Below are my current weigh ins so you all can see my progress.

Prior to 7/15/08 - 185+ (My weight varied and I didn't record it correctly, because I wasn't happy with ever going on the scale)
7/23/08 - 177 lbs
8/23/08 - 172 lbs
9/3/08 - 169 lbs
9/12/08 - 167 lbs
10/28/08 - 160 lbs (Yay! New jeans for a reward!)
11/7/08 - 156 lbs
1/4/09 - 150 lbs
1/15/09 - 148 lbs
2/18/09 - 146 lbs (Ugh! Slowing down! Had a very bad cold and then was just being lazy, no cardio or strength training for almost two weeks)
3/25/09 - 145 lbs (Wow slowing down a lot! Let's get back on track, Katie!)
8/16/09 - 150 lbs - Vacation for a week killed me! Today is the start of my final push to get to 120. I can do it!

My Goals:
Lose weight! I don't care how fast it's gone, I just want it gone. I have a lot of work to do but I will be patient to reach my goal weight.







Build up my confidence with my new body.


My Program:
Tracking the food I eat. Everything that goes down the hatch. I may not like the number at the end of the day, but it's motivation for tomorrow to try and do better!







Exercise every other day and do lots and lots of cardio.







Stay hydrated!
