Fitness Minutes: 3,446

My Goals:
At least 100 pounds by May. To prepare my body to become pregnant and enjoy this time - and not have to worry about all the problems additional weight attatch to this - they'll freak enough as I'll be an older mom. To enable me to conceive our first baby and have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Not to be stick thin, but lose enough weight not to have to look at a arm chair and wonder if I can get in it, be comfy while sitting there and not worry that when I leave i'll be taking it with me. To have room to put the baby on my lap without worrying that my stomachs taking up too much room!!!!

My Program:
Conscience eating and planning and recording. Upping fluid intake and trying to increase exercise level. Regular weighing but only once a week to stop becoming obsessional.

Personal Information:
My name is Sonya, I'm married to Paul - it'll be 12yrs in may 2014. I'm just outside inverness in the Scottish Highlands UK. We are still trying for our first baby. Had a misc sept 08 - have decided against IVF but hopefully bringing my weight down will help us achieve our aim.

Other Information:
Favourite little peoples book - Owl Babies by martin Waddle on walker books - a must for any new mummies and babies.

Films I love - Christmas time, Its a wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th street (richard Attenborough) and of course a Chrtistmas Carol - Alistair Sims or Patrick Stewart.

Other General films - Day after tomorrow, 7 brides for 7 brothers, unsinkable molly brown, inn of the sixth happiness.

    Good luck Sonya with the weight loss. We are all here to lose weight. Don't set your goals too high or it might put you off. I am weighing myself weekly at Boots you get a print out and your BMI which I find really helpful. I stick them in a book and can see how I am changing. Looked at Huddle and answered you plea to look at your page.. Paul McKenna's 4 points is helping me also. Eat when hungry,eat what you want, eat consciously,stop when full. emoticon

    Welcome!! We are all here for the same reason!!! If you have a question/ sure to ask -- I've found that usually others have their own answers for what worked, and I have enjoyed the support and different takes on things!!!! We can do it!!! Remember, we didn't get to where we are overnight, and we can't get to where we are going overnight, either!!!
