I have faith your surgery will go well! Blessings! Yes, Chicagoans are tough--I am originally from the area!

Welcome to Spark. I'm a permanent fixture here and still after 8 years share your appreciation for this supportive community.

You have a very smart goal. When my mother fell and ended up in rehab, the therapist assured me that she would be fine since it's a lot easier for a 120 pound woman to get back on her feet than for a 220 pound woman.

    Good luck.

Thank you for leaving a comment on my latest blog post ( Diet Conundrum). I look forward to learning more about you and growing closer as friends.

Consider your emotions as you think about your relationship with your diet and your husbands diet. When you sense any emotion that does not feel good or benefit you, explore the root of the emotion and how you might work through the emotion. Should you want help with this, I am here.

Always be aware of your emotions as they relate to your nutrition and fitness. Emotions can be sneaky little saboteurs. Awareness will make you ( and all of us) stronger inside and out!
