Welcome to my page! I've lost 44 lbs with the support of you wonderful people on SP. From size 22 to size 16. I have better quality of life and am much more active. I started with Pilates back in Feb, 2011, and am now a runner. I have learned a lot about what works for me and what doesn't with weight loss. I have fought off my cynical, scared, and discouraged feelings and habits. I am now ready to start strong again and lose some more weight.

My ultimate goal is to get to a healthy BMI of 20-23 by my 10th year wedding anniversary. An even 100# loss total would put me at my ideal weight for my height.

About me:
I am 36 years old and have 7 year old twins, a girl and a boy. I'm a registered dietitian who works full time. I started SP in Feb, 2011 and lost 25 lbs in a few months. From there I had some ups and downs, depending on how hard I worked at my weight loss. I've been maintaining a 44 lb loss for a while now, and am starting strong again.

I have a heart condition (peripardom cardiomyopathy, heart failure due to pregnancy) which means I have to ease into things. This is something I have to deal with and have had to overcome. If you see me writing about my blood lipid values, heart rate, or about overcoming fear you'll understand it's because I've come a long way. I started slowly with walking and pilates and I'm now running.

Fitness Minutes: 25,533

My Goals:
Lose 1 to 1 1/2 lbs per week.

Eat mostly whole foods, mostly pesco-vegetarian, mostly cooked by me.

Help my whole family embark on lifetime fitness fun like swimming, hiking, dancing and/or karate.

My Program:
10 min cardio in the morning.
30-40 min cardio or strength at lunch
20 minutes jogging in the evening before dinner
Stomach/toning/pushup while watching TV.

Some circuit training and some yoga/pilates should be included every week as part of my lunch break.

Stick to the calories recommended by SP.

Personal Information:
I love music, reading, movies,..
I exercise to SP workouts or to videos a lot at home. I use an elliptical and a treadmill. I mix it up.
