Introduction Text I am a TOPS member for many years. My top weight reached 195 lbs. I have been down in the 173 to 163 range for the last 4 to 5 years, maintaining and really happy to be doing that. I am making my final run to my goal weight of 155 and reach my KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) status. I want SparksPeople to help me get 5 lbs. below that and stay there with a permanent life style change. I praise my Lord, Jesus Christ, especially for hearing my prayer to restore my health, a few years ago, with healing I had to know was from Him alone. I now strive to get and keep His temple healthy so I may one day return to the ministry on my web site into which I was called in 1998.

I became a member of Sparkpeople in 2006 and was pulled away late that year due to family responsibilities. I remembered a few weeks ago (late Jan. 2008) just how much I loved it...so I am back and hopefully this time I can build a lasting new and exciting plan for my life.

Follow the SparkPeople Nutrition plan. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Use these recipes as much as I can. Walk for exercise and begin a strength training program.

I am a Christian, a blessed wife, mother of two with 2 in-law kids and I have 5 grandchildren, and one great grand on the way! Gramma Cherbear is also the author, illustrator and webmaster of cherbearsden.com, a 600 page site for Christian families, home-schoolers, missionaries and churches, etc.

I would like prayer for my return to ministry. I know God will help me attain that which is really the highest of my goals. I have much yet to do!

Add a Link My plan is to "never quit." I believe that failure to plan is a plan to fail. God is able to do all that He calls us to do. He asks us politely to treat ourselves well. The least we can do is respond and use all that He provides to help us to do just that.
