Hi my name is cheressa I am 32yrs old married with three children.. I have started my weight gain when I was 17.. I went from 140 to 180 in less than one year. I was going through some really hard times. It is really emotional for me still. I met my husband when i was 220 and i got up to 260 after all of my children were born. I was a size 22-24 and very unhappy.. My weight has fluctuated from 198 to 220 for the last couple of years.. i finally got down to a size 12-13 when i had to have a hyterectomy and had to be on bed rest for 8 wks.. now i am back at 220 and a size 16.. i want to be healthy and live a healthy life style so my kids will follow my good steps.. right now they are following the bad and are headed in the same direction that i am.. which is not good because my 11 yr old daughter is very hard on herself because of her weight.. This is my final hope for help ... thank you for reading and if you have any comments,suggestions, or advice.. or just want to know more... please feel free to ask or help away.. thank you and god bless

My Goals:
my goals are to be healthy for my kids and hubby. To have my children follow the same lifestyle. To be more active.And finally to look great for my self.

My Program:
First I am gonna take it step by step. And try to make a goal a day and follow it.. I can do this

I live in calhoun, ga... I am originally from michigan. I have been abused and called fat for more than half of my life. I want positive in my life and away with the negative. I want to have self confidence and be healthy for my kids and husband.. anything else you want to know i will be more than happy to answer anything.. thank you

    Hello Cheressa! Looks like you could use a Spark Buddy. Weight loss is like your savings account.... every little penny counts and adds up to become bountiful overtime. Weight loss is the same, it will take time but if you start with baby steps it will all add up overtime. So don't give up okay! What ever disadvantages you have, can always be changed to advantages we just need to change our situation. Stay Healthy and Be Happy. We only have this one life so its better to be Happy and Alive than focus on the negatives.

    Oh, my you sound down and a little desperate. Now I know (having offended a few people) that what we type doesn't always project the meaning or feeling we were trying to, so I apologize in advance if I have made an incorrect assumption. When I read your post I had a strong intuition that you were feeling the bad side of "all or nothing thinking". That little gal with the stinkin thinkin has sat on my shoulder so often, maybe I am projecting it on you.

    Every time you feel a negative comment about how useless or dumb or hopeless you are because you slipped up and procrastinated away your exercise time slot, or ate almost the whole thing STOP STOP STOP. You can't change what is done. But you can change what you do next. Try and think yourself in a friend's place.....what would you say to them? Shouldn't you be way nicer to yourself? You deserve it, give yourself praise right now for recognizing the problem and changing it right now.....Just for 10 minutes, go on you are worth it.
