My name is Gretchen. I've been overweight since about the time I hit puberty. The last three years I spent going to school double-full-time and working part-time. I managed to graduate with two degrees Magna Cum Laude, and complete my student teaching - but the time I put into that meant that anything regarding my health would be put on the back burner.

I've recently turned 30. My 20s were dedicated to getting things started for my career. I've built up a hell of a resume, and I'm finally ready to begin my life as an Elementary Teacher.

Well, now that I'm done with school and all my spare time isn't spent in the library in front of a computer and a stack of books, I figure it's time to move on to a new goal: A healthy me.

Small weight based goals:

Goal 1: 232 pounds (No longer morbidly obese) [Met 1/19/13]

Goal 2: 230 pounds (-10%)
[Met 1/25/13]

Goal 3: 226 pounds (-30 pounds)
Goal 4: 221 pounds (Lowest adult weight?)
Goal 5: 216 pounds (-40 pounds)
Goal 6: 206 pounds (-50 pounds)
Goal 7: 203 pounds (No longer severely obese, -20%+)
Goal 8: 199 pounds (Onderland!)
Goal 9: 192 pounds (-25%)
Goal 10: 186 pounds (-70 pounds)

January Resolution: Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian for the month. [Completed, and sticking with it!]

February Resolution: Run/Walk 5 miles per week.
[Completed]

March Resolution: Sleep 8+ hours a night. [Massive fail! I am tracking my sleep, now, though. I would like to reattempt this in the future.]

April Resolution: Track all food.
