Hi! I'm Christy! I'm 45 years young and my second grandbaby just arrived!! Hannah Grace was born September 17, 2009 and Tyler Keith was born February 22, 2012. The love I have for them has changed my life! I want to be healthy and active to keep up with my grands and to set a good example for them!!Over the past few years, various circumstances have put me 100 pounds OVERWEIGHT! I decided I wanted to lose the weight, to get back to the OLD me, so I can enjoy my NEW grandbabies, and be a Healthier me.

~ "Our deepest fear is NOT that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are POWERFUL beyond measure. It is our LIGHT, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light SHINE, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." To achieve an ideal weight for me.
I will track everything I eat...the good, bad and the ugly.
I will drink at least 10 glasses of water a day.
NO EXCUSES ALLOWED!!

My Program:
Daily QuickFire Challenge.

Cardio 6 days a week.

Strength training 4 days a week.

NO EXCUSES ALLOWED!!

This is a one day at a time program, but if you do the SparkPeople Program Steps, it really does work. I am terribly average, it's the SP program that is extraordinary.

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.

This journey of healthy living is achieved by integrating fitness into our lives, not our lives into our fitness routine (unless you are a pro-athlete). This journey is not about getting to the destination as quickly as we can but by making it a part of our every day lives so that we can be healthy for a lifetime.

I just saw your comment on my page from back in December. Thank you for your kind words. I'm not as "sparky" as I used to be, but I'm still in the game. Working from home and not being out as much has brought on new challenges, am I right?

Hello...thanks for visiting my page and the friend add. I'm still sparking. I'm not as physically active as I used to be, but I try to walk the dog every day. I do miss the spark blogging and teams. I mostly use just the app for tracking my food.

That's what happened to me. I got slack with tracking and couldn't afford healthy foods and just let old habits creep back in, gained almost all my weight back, but I've been tracking faithfully since end of March and have just now been able to afford healthy foods again. I know how to lose the weight, but getting started is hard. Thanks for your comment on my page!!!
