Introduction Text I have Type 2 diabetes, I'm here to share help in losing weight, learn to cook in better ways, become healthy. I tried to do this on my own for far too long, and now I realize I not only want but need to share support with others like me.

My hope is to take all the guess work out of all I want to accomplish on my getting healthy journey, such as how to buy what at the grocery store & how to cook healthy meals.



I lost my Mother in 2005 with no warning due to what we later learned was Heart Disease. I want to be a role model for family members to know we can beat this. My motivation is her because I do not want her death to be in vain.
