After not managing to move past my wall, March of 2011, I decided to make low-carb. living my life-style through the Atkins diet/lifestyle. I love me some carbs, and I'm sure every once and awhile, indulging in some ice cream or a cupcake will happen. But, I'm almost done with the first phase, Induction, and I can already say, my appetite is down substantially, and I just don't crave super sweet things ALL OF THE TIME. My Atkins bars and shakes give me the perfect fix for my sweet cravings, and there are a whole bunch of recipes on their site for low carb. sweets!

Best part, this diet and lifestyle hates using aspartame just as much as I do, instead they use sucrulose and sugar alcohols to sweeten things, which is amazing because they don't taste like garbage.

Weight markers:

November 2009- 256.5 lbs

January 2010- 235 lbs.

May 2010- 220 lbs.

November 2010- ONE YEAR MARK: 240 lbs.

March 2011-242- decided to go low-carb.

Start of April- 227 lbs. (down 15 lbs. already!)
I've just gotta keep going!!!!!!!!!!

My Goals:
I first plan on loosing the 50 pounds that I gained being in college, then I plan on loosing another 60 to get down to my goal weight of 140. I want to change how I eat, how I think about food and exercise.


My Program:
I am doing the Atkins lifestyle, as of March 2011, and it's working amazingly! If anyone wants information on the Atkins lifestyle, I do suggest going to atkins.com to get as much info as possible, and reading the book if you can get your hands on it, before even thinking about doing it. People with health complications should seek a doctors consultation before going ahead with this lifestyle.
