    emoticon All fruit has seeds in it. That's why it's a fruit & not a veggie. Can you eat zucchini, yellow squash, asparagus- I eat a lot of salads, sauté veggies. I usually eat 3 meals and a snack. I try so hard to stay under 1550 calories but it's hard. I don't buy any snacks. I do catch myself using chex cereals as snacks. Yesterday I took peaches & cream protein shake and mixed it with frozen peaches- and called it ice cream. I like doing things like that for snacks but I have to be careful because I'll start eating too much. I'm trying to snack on summer squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, celery and some salad dressing. I slice up a plate full. My TV snack. emoticon

    You mentioned broth- do you make bone broth? I hear that is really healthy.

    Hi Cindy! You can stop by anytime. The last couple of months I've been slacking. So I keep bouncing back & forth -- I've lost between 69-75 lbs depending what part of the week I'm on. Still need to lose about 60 more.

    Are you using the food tracker? I find it really helps me! I even found out if I plan my meals on the tracker for the week I do better. That way my food is in my calorie range and I stick to the plan better.

    I find if I use too many new recipes I mess up. But I do really like some of Spark recipes.

    I've been getting lazy lately and by being lazy I've started snacking a lot. Not a good thing for me.

    I try to snack on cucumbers, celery, zucchini, yellow squash, fruit. I use a low calorie or zero calorie dressing to dip veggies into. I try not to eat too much pasta & rice. What ever the bag or box says is a serving size I cut it in half. I find lean meats & veggies are my best bet. It's more food with lower calories. I found some wraps- put out by x-treme that are only 50 calorie each and high in fiber. They cost a lot but I spend the money! I found if I eat egg whites instead of egg I lower my calories and cholesterol. Don't really miss the yolk. I do like hard boiled eggs but I found if I make them-- I keep snacking on them until they are gone. Not a good thing again. I made a vegetable lasagna and it was really good but I divided it up into serving sizes and froze the left overs. Make great meals later!

    My goals for August are:
    LOSE 5 LBS
    STRENGTH ROUTINE 2X A WEEK
    WALK DOG 1 MILE EVERY DAY
    STAY IN CALORIE RANGE 1200-1550 (shooting for at half the month) cause I've mess up so much the last couple of months - I've set new goals for August.

    Starting over isn't fun but I will succeed. And so can you. Baby Steps is the only way!! It's trail and error until you find the right path. WISHING YOU AN AWESOME AUGUST! emoticon
