Hi! I've been a spark member since 2004. I've used this site on and off since that time. I've had a lot of personal and physical issues that led me astray of achieving my full weight loss goals, but I've learned a lot over time -- about me, what drives me, how to avoid excuses, and taking accountability for me. In 2010, I actually had lost 50 lbs, but then my husband of 24 yrs unexpectedly passed away. The past 3 1/2 years have been a journey where I first gave up all of my exercise, turned to comfort food and gained back my weight. I have since found my new soulmate, a widower as well, and I'm so happy and peaceful now! I'm ready to give this yet another shot. I need to focus on my health so I can be strong for my kids and grand kids.
What's that saying??? -- 'Be patient. God isn't finished with me yet!' LOL!

I hope you are having better success with exercise than I am. I'm doing okay food wise, but the exercise....uggh!!!
Have a great day today!
