Guess who's back - AGAIN? Get back here - I need you for motivation!!
Got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes a couple months ago. NOW I'm taking my health seriously! I have cut all OBVIOUS sugar since then: soda, ice cream, cookies, cake, etc. I know I lost 6 lbs in the first 2 weeks. Checking in with the doc again tomorrow. Hopefully even MORE lost! (Haven't been using the scale at home.) I started working out again (Green Strength - basically the generic version of CrossFit). And I plan on adding walking, bike riding and/or dance videos from a youtube channel recommended on here - The Fitness Marshall. I actually can't WAIT to try it! And next up is starting to wean off added/hidden sugars.
Aside from the OBVIOUS health reasons to get back on Spark, I became single a couple of years ago. Now I'm EMOTIONALLY ready to get back in the dating game, but I live in a rural area, and guys around here just don't like fat girls! I'm going to be an empty-nester in the next couple of year, and I don't want to be THAT lady who lives alone with her cats (and dogs).
