I read about something you wrote about your bad experience with hypnosis. I am really sorry to hear about what happened! Wow, it sounds like quite an ordeal. You might do better incorporating mindfulness practices into your program. My aunt was telling me how it was helping her to be in the moment. And about how she like to distract herself more now, when things are unpleasant, by reading a book or whatever.

I say, find what you like to do and live it up! It's all good, walking, running, or what I like to call butt shuffling LOL. Better to be moving the tush than lounging on the couch, right? :)

Yes, I do!! When I get home tonight (work blocks Facebook), I'll send you a message.

I think it's wonderful - you're doing a lot of hard work to make MF work for you, whether you eat 100% MF foods or not! In fact, I think you're working harder because you are looking at the Nutrition Facts and Ingredients and such - those are things I really haven't done much being purely on MF foods!

Thank you!!!! This is actually really encouraging - my sister has been wanting to do MF but doesn't have the income to support it. I'm going to take your tips and let her know!

You continue being the Rebel you are ;)

I know that a lot of people (myself before I went on this health journey, friends, family) think that their problem is their fat. That losing weight will suddenly make them happy and everything will be roses and sunshine.

There was this article about a woman on Yahoo! (I believe) a while back. She was overweight (probably obese at 300+ pounds) and had bariatric surgery. At the end, she was what she always wanted to be - skinny - but she felt she lost her identity and was surprised that she wasn't suddenly happy. (I think she wrote a book too - need to find the link!!)
