Just not comfortable in my own skin anymore! It's definitely time to change my life.... one day at a time!

I wrote that statement some time ago but it actually still stands true today, July 5, 2012. For the last year I've been working solely on my daughter's project as her manager. As a result, I forgot to take time for myself. I LOVE slogging and walking. I LOVE alone time and just vegging out. I need to refocus my efforts and do some things for myself. ALL of my kids are grown (19, 23,25) so I really don't have any excuses there. A couple of weeks ago I found my daughter a new manager so that I could retire for a while. I've gain ALL of the weight back that I lost in the past. I've also lost myself somewhere. Starting over will be great!!

I will workout at least 7 x's a week for a minimum of 30 minutes at each session as a part of the 100 Day Challenge. Today is day 76 for me and I'm still going strong! My main workout will be walking and slogging. For September, my goal is to conquer 100 miles!! I CAN DO THIS!!

Personal Information:
I'm 46 and married with 3 children (25, 23,19). I'm from Philadelphia but I've lived in Southern NJ since 1999. I LOVE football! (especially HS football) Oh and I'm 5'5" which seems to be important when following someone's weight loss journey! :)

Other Information:
I am a movie watcher so I joined a gym that has a movie theatre. I workout to a different movie everyday... That is so cool!!

My favorite TV show is The Big Bang Theory! Odd right? lol

"Many things are simply not going to happen with just one, or three, or even a dozen attempts. Yet anything becomes possible with enough persistence.
Keep going, and allow your efforts to build upon one another. Keep going, and transform the disappointments into achievements.
You have what it takes to keep going, because all it ever takes is just one more step forward.
Keep going, and work your way steadily to the richest rewards you can imagine."

"One of the most difficult parts of changing how you live and how you eat is believing that change is possible.
We all say we believe that, but many of us, deep down in our hearts believe that it's possible for other people, but not for us.
That other people can do it, that the glowy warm life we imagine is for other people, not for us.
We have an unconscious belief that we can't do it, it's hopeless, and so, on some level, we stop making an effort.
We lapse into the way it always was or is. But change really is possible.
And it really does take a fierce kind of longing, and a fierce kind of love for yourself.
For the life you know is possible. Ask yourself what you love most of all.
Do you love your life? And are you willing to take action on your own behalf?"

“In terms of days and moments lived, you’ll never again be as young as you are right now, so spend this day, the youth of your future, in a way that deflects regret. Invest in yourself. Have some fun. Do something important. Love somebody extra. In one sense, you’re just a kid, but a kid with enough years on her to know that every day is priceless."
