Loving Life in the Valley of the Sun (Down Almost 40lbs!)
I'm Courtney, in my mid-30s and living in the beautiful Valley of the Sun (Phoenix). I've had ups and downs with my goals over the last 10 years, but got seriously committed in December 2017 and as of August 2018 am down 50 lbs. It’s exciting to see real progress coming out of the REAL WORK it’s taking to do this. Tracking and H2O are tied at #1 for me with workouts, micro goals and micro celebrations (both food and non-food!) have been keys for me. What’s working for you? Let’s share tips!

Midterm goal: 185 by 9/1/15
Long term: 170-175 and a comfortable size 12
My Program:
Food:
1200-1500 cals/day
Lots of home-cooked meals (trying to cut carbs & sodium as much as possible too)
Exercise:
Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) classes 3x/week
Occasional yoga/dance classes, hiking & outdoor activities (although not really in the summer here in AZ)
