I'm in this for the long haul - but still taking it one day at a time!
I am 45, and I lost 110 pounds - reaching my "goal" weight in December 2011. After successfully maintaining for a year as a size 2/4, I started IVF treatments - that's a long story more suited to a blog, but the short version is 6 IVF cycles, 4 miscarriages, and then 2 healthy baby boys in 2015 and 2017!
I've had to work hard to get back to "goal" after the second pregnancy, but am now VERY close with just a few more pounds to go - a size 6 fits well, but my 2/4s are still ...

My Goals:
My primary goal is to maintain my 110 pound weight loss. Secondary goals include increased cardio fitness and improvements in strength and flexibility.
My Program:
Primarily I just try to eat whole foods in reasonable portions and stay active. I'm trying to work in more challenging cardio workouts (I used to run, and would like to do it again!), and formal strength training. Right now "strength training" is lifting my very tall 3 year old (who could pass for 6 or 7) "up in the sky" or some pushups, squats, lunges, etc. when I have a few minutes. Not sure when I'd fit it in - but trying to find a trainer who can work with me at the office gym, so I don't have to take more time away from my family! :)

Starting Weight: 268 lbs. (November 2010) Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011) Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011) Size 22W to Size 4 Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.
