Thank you, WOUBBIE, for your acknowledgement and hearty congratulations. I HAVE been working hard, VERY HARD to lose weight. I've been turning over all kinds of leaves -- most of them heavy as rocks, looking to lose weight. I've been trying several new things; and I've been very disciplined. I busted through a weight barrier that stood for TWO YEARS! I've done it alone. I've done it while I have been temporarily disabled due to surgery. I've tried to document my journey carefully in case others might learn from it. And I've been almost completely ignored by my Sparkies. Up until now. So your acknowledgement means a lot, because I was getting very discouraged.
I know it is only 14 pounds (but it is MY 14 pounds!), and I am still overweight; but I am not obese anymore. Shedding this particular weight was important. I've lost almost 2 sizes, cleared excess baggage from my closet, and eased the stress on my knees. THESE pounds lost have recharged my diminished confidence again and remotivated me to lose weight.
